Boys Basketball
1997…After five-year drought, Alamogordo returns to the top of Class 4A basketball by edging Las Cruces 61-59 in title game

1992…A 25-1 season for the Tigers culminates in a second straight title for coach Ron Geyer & Co.. Final: Alamogordo 65, Highland 40

1991…Alamo breaks through on the hardwood for a boys championship as Tigers beat Sandia 44-31 in finale

Girls Basketball
1985…Alamogordo interrupts two-year stranglehold by Eldorado on 4A by winning title game over Clovis 58-52

Volleyball
1986…Alamogordo ends two-year reign atop Class 4A by West Mesa with a three-game sweep of the Mustangs in the championship

1979…Coached by Debbie Exom, Tigers sweep Eldorado in two-out-of-three match for first volleyball title

Softball
2004…Alamogordo keeps West Mesa at bay in Class 5A championship game and takes home blue trophy with 5-2 victory

1999…First state softball title for Tigers, who beat perennial powerhouse Carlsbad 4-2 in 4A’s last game of the season

Baseball
1975…Tigers wallop Del Norte 12-3 in Class 4A championship game to gather second overall title

1971..Bragging rights for the state comes down to Alamogordo and Gallup with the Tigers beating the Bengals 3-1

Boys Soccer
1993…Only blemish on Tigers’ resume is a tie in the Class 4A championship, but 0-0 deadlock makes Alamo co-champ with St. Pius

Tennis
1966…Alamogordo’s first tournament state championship of any kind is actually in tennis, when Dick Fate rolls through the boys Class 2A field for the singles title
