Boys Basketball
2010…Led by senior Ethan Shelley, Cliff finishes stellar 28-1 season by dumping Tatum 50-39 in the 1A championship at The Pit
2008…A perfect 31-0 campaign for the Cowboys ends with a 53-41 victory over district rival Animas
1999…Third title in four years, fourth in past six, when Cliff beats back Roy 55-43 in the Class 1A finale
1997…Cowboys go back-to-back, successfully defending their 1A crown by knocking off Reserve 66-60 in the championship
1996…Fifth title for Cliff under coach Pete Shock after a 72-45 trouncing of Coronado to finish 25-4 season
1994…Thirty wins & no losses for the Cowboys and the last victory is the toughest. Class 1A championship: Cliff 69, Grady 67
1985…Cliff grabs gold in small schools hoops by defeating Reserve 58-51 to cap a 25-3 season
1983…Cowboys take a second straight Class 1A crown by outlasting Rehoboth 65-56 in the title game
1982…Coach Pete Shock & his players deliver first basketball championship to Cliff after a 62-54 win over Floyd in the 1A finale
Girls Basketball
2001…You can’t do any better. Cliff goes a perfect 29-0 under coach Clay Means and wins 1A title for second straight year after 50-45 win over Elida
2000…New millenium begins with a whippin’ as Cowgirls pummel Roy 65-39 in the Class 1A tournament final
1993…Cliff gets on the board with a championship in girls hoops as, coached by Tom Houghton, Cowgirls nip Melrose 47-45
