And now, a word about our sponsor…
I’d love to tell you that we spent a million dollars researching the market and found that the loyal Roswell listener was looking for this format… BUT WE DIDN’T! Instead, we decided that we just wanted to play what we want… You okay with that?!
JACK is not only a new kind of station; it’s also a state of mind. (Boy that ’s really deep!!) JACK is totally different than anything else on the radio. We think just like you do…(okay, most of you). Most stations play the same 20 songs all day every day and the DJ chatter is lame and boring and they spend too much time talking about what they saw on TV last night… WHO CARES?!? Hush up and play some music for cryin’ out loud!
That’s where JACK comes in… No DJs and a playlist ten times larger than the other guys. Hallelujiah!
Most stations only play a couple hundred songs, and they play one or two styles of music from a very specific time period. Some of the more adventurous stations may even play THREE styles of music. Woo Hoo! All the while saying they play variety. Good rule of thumb is those who say they do something generally don’t. We don’t play a variety of music…..we just play what we want. We pull songs from well over 1,200 songs all ranging from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and Now. Heck we may even throw in an ‘Ole Blue Eyes’ in there just for good measure. We’ll play anything….well maybe not polkas, but most anything else.
There are never any requests on JACK, just a bunch of songs we love, and we know they’re songs you love too. Thanks for making JACK FM your new home!
