Football
1974…Dream season for Del Norte and coach Howard Anderson as the Knights finish up perfect 13-0 season with a 14-6 win over Hobbs in Class 4A championship
Softball
1989…Knights suffer only one setback in 24-1 season – not in the title contest, however, as Del Norte claims crown wih 10-3 blowout of La Cueva
1984…A narrow 1-0 victory over Eldorado gives Del Norte and coach Anita Vigil the Class 4A championship
Baseball
1982…Lone baseball crown for the school takes place when Knights, headed by coach Tom Miller, beat back Goddard 8-3 in 4A finale
Tennis
1984…Janet Light has bragging rights in state after she picks up first place in the girls singles state tournament for Class 4A
1976…Three straight years, Del Norte has an individual state champ as Susi Meikle wins the girls singles draw
1975…Another boys singles state tournament, another Wheeler from Del Norte takes it all. This time it’s Jerry Wheeler who grabs Class 4A honors
1974…Ron Wheeler provides Knights with first boys tennis individual championship when he wins his way through the 4A tourney
